This is a ‘Man Down’ alarm developed for the Fire Services worldwide. It incorporates a Motion Sensor invented by Product Innovation Ltd and subsequently sold to MSA Inc of Pittsburgh PA. The Firefly II was developed for MSA after the IP sale. It meets stringent environmental and safety specifications in the EU and US. Although first produced in the early 1990’s it is still in production in Europe and still marketed worldwide.
